The Mediterranean Bowl

No Heat

Bright, lemony & herby, a touch of black pepper

Cook it

One Pot · 10 Minute Cook · 2 Servings

Brown
Cook 8 oz of your protein (½ lb — about half a standard pack) in a deep skillet over medium-high heat.

Bloom
Shake the pouch, open at the seam, and add the full contents to the skillet. Stir for 12–15 seconds.

Simmer
Add 1¼ cups water (or broth, for extra depth), stir, and bring to a full boil. Cover and simmer on low for 10 min. For softer farro, turn off the heat and let sit an additional 2–5 min.

Serve
If there's excess liquid, return to medium heat and simmer uncovered until it just coats the grains. Plate it up and add your fresh toppings.

Made with real ingredients — natural clumping may occur. The shake before opening and a good stir take care of it.

Pick your protein

8 oz (½ lb — about half a pack), browned in the pan first. Tofu works just like the meat; chickpeas only need a few minutes in a little olive oil.

Ground chicken Ground turkey Ground beef Extra-firm tofu, crumbled Chickpeas (a drained can)

Stir in at the end

Right after the simmer, while the pan is still hot.

A handful of baby spinach Frozen peas Diced mushrooms
Something creamy
A knob of butter Crumbled feta Goat cheese
A little heat
Red pepper flakes Extra cracked black pepper
